I wouldn't call a hand-picked entourage of buddies "babysitters." I'm talking about somebody who is being paid to be there and the only job is to keep Roethlisberger out of trouble.

And slappy, Roethlisberger wasn't told "one more incident and you're gone." He was told that he was suspended for six weeks unless he cleans up his act entirely and gets help. He did the latter, but if this is true, he failed on the former.

It also helped that the Rooneys were on board with whatever the NFL wanted to do with the rape accusation. I wonder if that would be the case over something like this. At this point, they just have to be hoping he can stop doing stupid shit for a few months, come back and play great the last 10 games of the season and then try to trade him. It wasn't going to happen in the middle of the PR mess, but a year later I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone.

Could have been worse. At least it was not Najah Davenport on the fringe of the 18th.

Clearly Big Ben has no class. Golf etiquette calls for only taking a leak in the woods between holes 4- 8 and 12 - 16 which tend to be more secluded.

Besides who would piss on Jack Nicklaus's lawn. This was not the county golf course.

Between the resident SportsJournalists.com neurologists and pissologists, this is a pretty funny thread.

I think my earlier comments were misconstrued a bit. I could really care less if he pees in public. Yeah it is not classy. The problem is, he has been such a knucklehead for the last couple years, you wonder what he was thinking. Of course that's it. He wasn't thinking.

OK raise your hand if you HAVEN'T drained the main vein on a golf course at least once in your life. And then when you do I'll call you a liar.

Criminal trespass? Destruction of property? Indecent exposure?

You honestly think that someone pissing in the trees while playing golf is grounds for calling the cops?

They don't like you in Ohio, dumbass. Next time do that shit in Pittsburgh and you'll be fine.

    You've never golfed have you?

This is getting ridiculous. I'm sure cops would love spending their time chasing down dangerous criminals like this.

But what golfer would take a leak at the finishing hole?
