I wouldn't necessarily categorize the motivation for deleted comment as sexism. The person who wrote it has been a pig in general and has taken the lowest road possible when writing about men, too.

I can't confirm whether the business is sexist or not; I'm a guy, and I've never walked a mile in a woman's shoes.

I think my feet would hurt if I walked a mile in women's shoes.

Tom Reed will be staying on at Akron. Patrick McManamon, unfortunately at this point, will not. Enough people took buyouts to allow Reed to remain.

Not that some of you care (or maybe you care too much) but Stephanie Storm got her job back too.

Unfortunately it will take a lot of people to accept buyouts for McManamon to remain, he's too far down on the seniority list.
It was figured that Reed would somehow be staying since he was among the Top five on the list and that enough people would take the buyout. However, he is still in the running in Jacksonville for that columnist spot and has interviewed there.

Tom Reed was offered the Jacksonville job and he turned it down last week.

People, people, we're missing the big picture here.

No, seriously, we're missing a big picture here. Is she hot or what?

That, not a critique of her ledes, would be a sexist comment.

    Well, is she?

This thread is useless ... Well, I'll just leave it at that.

Anyway, back on topic, sort of here. Pat's coverage of the Browns continues to be fantastic. Whoever is put in his place will have a hard, hard time doing as good a job as he does.

Sucks for Jacksonville too, that Reed didn't take that gig. He's pretty a pretty damn entertaining read.

I won't repeat the information that got deleted, but what I wrote about Storm wasn't sexist and, unlike the Chris Pronger thread, it has been admitted by her. So for all the people so aghast at what I posted a few days ago, stop and ask yourself why it was perfectly fine to dissect the poor woman involved in the Pronger RUMORS, but when somebody posts a fact it gets taken off the board and I get rap on the knuckles. Is it because Storm is a print journalist and not on TV like the other woman? Is it because there's less chance the other woman stops by this board?
