    Should you begin preparing resumes? Maybe.

    My guess is you'll see a severe cutting of travel budgets (if you have one), stuff like that. Plus a shuffling of assignments. And probably some buyouts.

    The record number of journalism school students baffles me, and I'm not easily baffled. Sure, people want information, and many people value sports, but this industry as an economic model is facing hyper-turbulence. And when/if the DMN reduces Cowboys coverage, bring on community calenders.

    I think it should baffle a lot of people, including the schools that allow it to happen.

    A lot of schools include public relations in their journalism departments, so some of those figures on journalism school students might be a little misleading.
