    Yeah, the first year post-Miami and Va. Tech when an 8-4 Pittsburgh team "earned" the right to get its ass kicked by BCS-busting Utah made a huge impression.

    Didn't help that Pitt had a lame duck coach (see below) coaching in that game that pretty much didn't give a shit.

    Yeah, that was the powerhouse squad that needed overtime to beat mighty SEC power Furman and had to come from behind to beat perennial top 10 Temple.
