They’re down 2-0, unless you’re rooting for the team, which the local bozos do
And don’t get me started on first ever
If it’s the first ever it’s the first
I blame ESPN for shit like that

 

Stats without context. You'll hear "This is the first time Local Tech has defeated Outta Town State in 30 years" but not be told they have played three times in that period.

And I think someone already mentioned made up milestones. "Jones is the first player to score 33 points, with 16 rebounds, 8 assists and at least one steal since Oscar Robertson in 1963."
