    Lance Armstrong, yeah we all know what he did. My disappointment comes in Floyd Landis. Dude was caught doping after Lance and had to know they’d be looking out for that.

    My football disappointment is Tony Mandarich, who was discussed previously.

    Basketball it would have to be Len Bias. I remember delivering papers (!) as a kid in high school and seeing that that on the front page. Probably a reason I never touched anything harder than a blunt in my days.

    Taking away his lack of charity and monogamy, Tiger is a tremendous disappointment on the course as well. He had everything he needed to easily surpass Nicklaus but his daddy issues won out and he decided to (1) tear up his knees training to be a SEAL (2) be pennywise and pound foolish by hobbling around the 2008 U.S. Open like Fred G Sanford on one pin. Yes, he won. He also did incredible damage to that knee and hasn't been the same golfer since.
