You people are still pissed because the Black community MADE you bend to their culture in Vegas.

The dominant culture hates that. Get over it already.

(you can keep the crime stats and pacman's foilables to yourself)

    Pssst, it's Vegas.

Vegas will willingly bend to anybody with money more than you bend the syntax of the English language. And, honestly, Vegas probably made more money off the Chinese New Year than the Thug Life Woodstock.

    "foilables?"

anecdotally, was in LV sunday nite thru wednesday. Four cabbies, one cab line dispatcher, several bartenders, two floormen at mirage and one at mgm, and many other guests reflected jason's opinion -- both before and after strip club shooting.

Do people do any research before they open their mouths or write?

The police force is New Orleans is probably about 85 percent of what it was pre-Katrina, not half. And while there's been a crime problem, it's in certain areas, nowhere near anyone coming to any event is going to go.

Mardi Gras attracted 800,000 people to the city. NOPD handled it without a problem. Will the All-Star Game bring 5% of that?

And I would question if the ASG is bigger than the Sugar Bowl, or perhaps even a playoff game.

Have you seen the quotes from Billy Hunter today. He even went as far as suggesting a law suit to prevent NBA from holding event in New Orleans.

The answer would be no, then?

Come on, Jason. Araton is Stern's least favorite journalist.
No offense but Araton's piece was the difference between a first-rate column and something that seemed like you needed space to fill for your AOL obligations. Once again, your genius is your self-promotion. You have EVERYONE talking about you, which proves that you don't need ESPN to get an audience...
