hey, Mr. mentally deficient attempting to be a smart guy.

In order to remedy an illness you first have to find the cause of the sickness. Its called an order of protocol. Telling a patient he's sick isn't solving anything, and someone of Whitlocks stature (no pun) and celebrity should take the time out to seek the detailed and complex causes before handing out his finger pointing remedies.

If you want me to speak on solutions, I'll site the Mary Padillo's, William Juliuses, and Jonathan Kozol's of the world who give their lives to tackling our problems. If you consider yourself a real journalist, you'll conduct your own research on those names.

Your condescending tone speaks volumes of your intellectual laziness. No wonder your bed fellows of Whitlock. Take off your cape.

Were you as enlightened as you would have us believe, you would not confuse bemusement with discomfort.

On this journalists' message board, we try to differentiate between "your" and "you're". Try it.

I did not ask you for reading recomendations. I asked you for your solution to the problem.
But let's back up -- Do you think there is a problem in the black community and if so what is it? As a follow up again -- What is your suggested solution.

If you have an opinion on Whitlock column clearly you must have some ideas on solution.

(I'm hedging my bets. If they aren't scoop, I don't want him to find one online too easily.)

and the blanket rhetoric and divisive finger pointing of a comedian and a indolent journalist bother me as well.

Look at the quality of the people you guys are propagating as a voice of positive change in the black community.

A comedian and a sports journalists.

They know whats right for us feeble minded folks.

    Comedian... Bill Cosby.

When you have one-20th of the community investment he has, you can talk.

    You prick.

Look, the bottom line is this.

For all the outrage -- and rightfully so -- about the "real" KKK, our young visitors fail to admit that this current group of bling-masters and gang-bangers are based in hate and distrust, too. And they are destructive. And, yes, they make their fellow man uncomfortable.

So, rather than ranting about Whitlock's use of the term "black KKK," perhaps there should be some discourse about what those people could do so as not to fit the term.
