That's enough.
The truth is fluid, after all.

Maybe he falls into that group that thinks that chiropractors are not really doctors.

The all-star game being moved from New Orleans addresses the issues in the black community?

You're right, Billy Hunter, David Stern, and now the Houston Rockets have parted the waters to lead us to our promise land.

Great job Jason. We owe it all to you.

Its that much easier for my former employers group of corporate Real Estate execs and speculators to continue to fearlessly head down to the Big Easy and recreate a "new" New Orleans where someone of Mr. Whitlock's present day salary probably couldn't afford to purchase a home.

    Congrats Jason.

And nevermind the third world conditions presently hanging like a huge cloud over the city where teenagers are living alone or with older siblings or relatives, separated by hundreds of miles from their parents displaced as a result of Katrina.

The social structure of the city was fragmented prior to the hurricane and exacerbated even more so afterwards. The economics of the city make many of these parents unable to go back and even take of their kids.

So what's your rebuttal Jason? To point that magic finger of yours at the well known murder statistics in the city?

You actually want praise for further depriving a city badly in need of an economic redevelopment.

I'm sorry Jason, your lack of homework and laziness isn't doing it for me.

Once again, you do your celebrity a huge disservice.. Good job my friend.

well, since he had no real knowledge about me (other than the fact that i disagree with his assertions) and had to be informed of the fact by you, i guess we can throw that one to the side, eh?  his opinion was based on an assumption and superficial analysis (and a little bit of hate)....now where have i seen that before?  fitting....
Based on his body of work I am not sure if I would even let him put his hands on my dog.
body of work?  on a message board?  methinks thou doest protest too much.  i think i understand why you and whitlock agree so much...

this thread has been derailed for a few pages now.  dialogue concerning the topic is few and far between.  but it is an interesting site.  im sure ill visit often....

Most doctors have lousy bedside manners, in my experience.

I have a serious question for Big Chee or MavRick, both of whom appear to be college educated professionals, and this completely related to whitlock's columns:

What about that site appeals to you? By any standards, much of the content is obscene and violent. At this moment there are 1700 people online...most ever was over 5000, last month. These aren't prisoners, or homeless addicts eating out of trash cans. They have computers and electricity and time to post on a website....they click there by choice. Why? To have an anonymous outlet to be obscene and violent?

You say whitlock fails by not offering solutions to the problem....do you offer solutions?

Violence and obscenity usually does the trick, 21.

I love the rush to judgment on the type of posters that float through sohh.

On first glance and looking at some of the responses of users in here, I'd be apt to blow off this site just as quickly.

I forgot, only you guys have the ability to filter through the good and the bad.

    ;D

I'll post some years old discussions from that'll defecate on the "epiphany" Mr. Whitlock has bestowed upon many of you.

And lets get something straight for the mentally diminutive of some in here.

There's an order of protocol in finding solutions.

You get to the source of a problem before you root out the sickness.

You guys praise Whitlock for saying "look, the patient is obviously sick!! Let's quarantine them!!"

My approach is "let's get to the root causes of that illness so it won't resurface."

That's why I research before I speak. So others in a better position than me can then work on solutions.
