Chuck Dean, Birmingham's senior political reporter, was put out on the iceberg. Because nothing interesting ever happens in the county that keeps the prisons stocked before, during and since America's largest municipal bankruptcy.

And YF, you yourself have used the perfect quote for this before. When you keep taking away pizza toppings, eventually it isn't a pizza anymore. Right now these papers just lost all the meat toppings and added another cup of water to the sauce for good measure.

 

I saw a few names that I know that weren't colored. I take that to mean they are still at the paper.

 

I do not believe that list is accurate.

I have exhaustive experience as a buzzed reporter. That should count for something.

 

That Birmingham list is not accurate or has not been updated, from what I have been told.

 

It is accurate. It is not up to date. Several others I have heard about are not highlighted on the list.
