Anyway, I'm hoping this goes into pure clusterfuck mode for Lowder. I want five or six coaches to publicly turn down Auburn. I want a Dana Altman situation - where somebody accepts the job, does a press conference and then leaves 24 hours later.

I'm just wondering if Saban is genuinely upset that Croom, Fulmer and Tuberville are gone -- or if he's pissed because he knew as long as those three were around he had three sure wins each season.......

Pretty hard to say anything about Tuberville's record against Bama and I hope I am not alone in my hesitance to proclaim Saban as Bear Bryant's Mini-me. Auburn and Lowder (who's proof of what happens when white trash gets money) just ceded all state recruiting to the Tide, which didn't need any help to begin with.

Saban's job just got a lot easier and Auburn just lost a shitload of respect in the exchange. I agree with Hammerpants ... one of the worst coaching fires ever. I am trying to think of another of its kind and cannot.
