You tell me, since you and YF are the ones so concerned about the sourcing. Who is "they"? There were literally millions of reports spawned out of this (which admittedly, is part of the problem). There were photos on the Missourian's website of TWO letters posted by officials at the residence hall, and there was a police report, even if the reporters didn't have a copy immediately. You really don't believe the original reporters talked to police officials who clearly investigated this? This is such a fucking joke and it makes me sick that there are so many people on a purported journalism message board who have zero respect for journalists and have no idea how gathering news works.
