Found this nugget on the intern's new blog post..

In other words, my blog could have been used for good. Instead, it was used for evil.... me, me, me!

And she is, of course by her own admission, still lovely and talented.

Or, perhaps she could have blogged something with less saliva and more compassion in the first place.

    To the SportsJournalists.com vets:

Can a debut post win post of the year? If it can, I'm voting for it.

Scott, it's good to see you are in good spirits about this whole thing. You will land on your feet somewhere.. magazine, web site, something. Good luck.

Van McKenzie's widow could have won post of the year with her first post last year...

    Slappy,

Let's at least give her a little credit for acknowledging what she did wrong the first time out and for sharing what she has learned from the experience. She could have gotten all defensive and turned her second entry into an even louder pissing match.

That said, after reading her new blog it became very clear to me that young Jessica still has a lot of learning to do, and I pointed that out to her in the comments section. She could start by doing a lot of research into the woman she has identified as her hero.

It was time put in, at least that's what management told him when he got the axe. The only other time he lost a job, he was cut loose and they gave him 10 weeks severance and he was there only six months. They let him go because the position they hired him for ended up going somewhere else and they didn't get the bid.

"I should have specified in my post that I was not praising the fact that Janet Coats laid off 10 employees, but that she approached the layoffs with a plan. For those who misinterpreted my words, I offer my sincerest apologies."

Were the right f---ing words used... or not?

And she could have also addressed the tougher comments instead of only the one commenting on her Star Wars reference...

Gawd, that's awful... Nothing like Lean Dean for truly fucking over the worker bees...

Actually Slappy, I believe it was maybe the third or fourth comment on her original blog where a link to this thread was pasted, so if Simon has been going shirtless since Thursday then he might as well stay that way.

Nice to have a little humor make its way onto this thread. It's a terrible situation, but the recent levity -- especially by Scott himself -- certainly helps 16 pages of bad medicine go down.
