    Which is quite different.

And maybe not even that, if it is determined to have been a reasonable reaction.

He's probably more aware of how common home invasions are in South Africa.

That said, this is fishy as hell.

    From NBC:

Beukes said there had been reports about previous problems at Pistorius' home that were "allegations of a domestic nature." When a reporter asked if she meant domestic violence, she nodded and said yes.

"There are witnesses and we have interviewed them," she added. "We're talking about neighbors and people who heard things earlier in the evening and when the shooting took place."

    Beukes is the police spokeswoman.

The only way it could be a reasonable reaction is if she was planning a scary Valentines' surprise by cutting through the front door with a chainsaw while wearing a Scream mask.

Yeah, I really fail to see how shooting someone FOUR TIMES is a reasonable reaction. I'll give you, maybe, one bullet, but the other three? Come on.

From FB: Roses are red, violets are glorious, don't try to surprise Oscar Pistorius.

Sure. And that may be how it turns out.

But that's pretty far afield now from your original stance: That it's "cut and dry" that anyone who kills someone is a "murderer."

He doesn't have legs, but he's armed and dangerous.
