    That show was awful today _ Lupica as guest host, Jimmy Roberts salivating about Notre Dame and Selena Roberts sitting like a stump. Ryan at least gave it some life.

    Seriously, I didn't mind the Yankees-Red Sox talk. It was a big series.

    However, I think the only reason the Terrell Owens' subject came up was so Lupica could say he knows Bill Parcells.

    Reali is a no-talent piece of shit. He really is.

    I have known some variation of a Stat Boy my entire life, and they were always funnier -- if for no other reason than their pure goofiness -- and more edifying than than Reali.

    He's got nothing.

    Loopy tried to instigate that Red Sox fans were not happy that the Sox didn't make any moves at trade deadline and their expectations were higher than they were in '04. Ryan called bullshit on Loopy and said that Sox fans don't care about what happens this year. They won the WS in 2004 and they are still living in the moment. Loopy tried to push the issue and Ryan stopped him in cold blood and said it's not even an issue.
