    I read your posts, I just don't understand what you mean.

    You said that it "gets into values," or something along those lines," which means that "judgments" are involved, and hence subjectivity.

    The "values" are based purely on precisely what occured over the course of a long season. I don't understand how that's "subjective."

    OK, I read it. OOP is being dumb. He's like a conspiracy theorist who thinks he has seized on some meaningful hole in the official story, all the while not realizing how loony he's become.

    wOBA may be more *complicated* than batting average, but there is literally no logical way to claim that it is more subjective.
