    No kidding...

I think Biggio is the only lock for next year.

I'd vote for Bonds, Biggio, Clemens, Palmeiro and Piazza.

I'd vote for Jack Morris just to see the Internet explode. (And also because I think he should be in, but mostly to see the explosion.)

Morris is one of the few players where I don't feel like I have a strong opinion either way...

His ERA is horrendous, but there was stretch in the early 80s where it seemed like he was the best, or maybe most consistent, pitcher in the game. Of course, he never won the Cy Young... and then he went quiet for a few years and put together two awesome seasons toward the end of his career.

I don't know... He's the only one in that group that I go back and forth on.

He was not "awesome", or anything close to it, in 1992.

Sometimes guys have modest walk totals because they're using those plate appearances to get more hits than everybody else.

You are correct. I saw that he had the 21 wins and finished in the top 5 for the Cy Young... Then I went back and saw that ERA over 4.00...

    Buckweaver,

You probably have as much baseball knowledge as anyone on this site...

    Carew or Bagwell? :D

    Bagwell, no doubt about it.

Carew's a deserving Hall of Famer. So is Bagwell.
