    For me, the film just tilts too much into nihilism. Almost every character is just farcically evil, and the movie is just violence for violence's sake as a result.

    I mean way way out.
    I’m even flipping the channel if the trailer comes on.
    I know it’s a movie and fake and all that.
    Nope.
    I bet theaters give all ticket holders a barf bag when they walk in.
    Pretty brilliant marketing having it open on Thanksgiving though.

    Combine the writing of Quentin Tarantino with the runaway directorial style of Oliver Stone and that's why you get

    There's a reason Tarantino doesn't care for the movie.
