If a mean-spirited, liberal Corvette-driving columnist had plowed over some pedestrian on the streets of D.C., you'd have hailed him for doing so because to stop or slow down would have added more carbon emissions to the atmosphere.

So...the guy gets a ticket for failing to yield, he says he doesn't know he hit someone...and you all take the word of some random 60-year-old bicyclist who said a guy was "splayed on the windshield?"

Really? There wouldn't have been evidence of that? A dent? A cracked windshield?
