    It went from a body was splayed on the windshield to he hit someone's hand.

    Novak is as unethical a reporter as they come. He admits in his book that he repeatedly lied, once to protect my old buddy Colson.

    Maybe that's why I like him so much, he's so hungry for a scoop that politicians have been using him for 40 years - and because he voted for me in 68.

    We were good friends until I tried to use the FBI to out his buddy, Evans, as one of those homosexuals.

    All water under the bridge now.

    I know that intersection as well as any in DC. It's definitely not the first time there's been a pedestrian hit there. Heck, I've seen much worse incidents there. And it could just as easily have been the pedestrian's fault. People just don't pay attention to what the fuck they're doing there.

    I took it that the hand was someone pounding on his car to get him to stop -- or at least alert him to the body sprawled on his windshield.

    DC's ABC affiliate reports that the victim may have actually been hurt, after all.
