BOOKS THREAD

    I used to have a rule like that, but I've gotten 50 pages into too many long biographies that just bored me to death. I tell myself that I will pick them up again some day, but they are still collecting dust in one of my bookcases.

    This is what happened to me with "My Life," Clinton's autobiography. I really enjoyed it ... to a point. But once it got bogged down in minutia, I put it down and didn't pick it back up.

    Someday I'm going to write a book and give it to Moddy.

    I'll say "Hey man did you like my book?"

    And he'll say "I finished it."

    Barkley's new book (Who's Afraid of a Large Black Man) is a very good read.

    Tiger Woods' story is interesting. I would've never expected him to open up as much as he did for it.

    Just getting started on Jane Fonda's autobiography.
