Pathetic. Let them have their say then just rubber-stamp it as planned. Avoid looking like tyrant fools.

He's saying that's what they SHOULD have done.

If the Cobb County Commissioners wanted a fair investigation and discussion into this, the Braves wouldn't have approached them in the first place.

Can't you find NBA tickets on Stubhub for next to nothing?

I still think minor league baseball is the best, but the NBA is not that expensive in many markets.

This isn't very Tea Party-ish of the Atlanta suburbs, is it?

Tells you all you need to know about the teabaggers: if they were really upset about what they claim to be upset about, they'd be launching Molotov cocktails into the Cobb County council chambers, as they would have been storming dozens of other governmental bodies on ALL these stadium giveaways.

But of course, that's not really what they're upset about.

Figure I'll get this on record now. The first regular season week night game---the traffic jam is going to be so epic, there will be references to this winter's Snowmageddon.

Visited Atlanta for business a few weeks ago and the agency I work with was complaining the entire time about the new stadium. What will make it so bad?
