The monologue by Aaron Paul in the hospital about ruining Hank's life was amazing. I loved the very slow close-up from the camera shot that never moved.

The makeup job they did on him kept me glued to him every time there was a scene in the hospital.

Jesse messing around in the lab was funny.
I was surprised the surviving cousin lasted as long as he did.
It was interesting that now there seems to be friction between Walt Jr. and Walt after Jr. spent most of this season sticking up for him.

    1) The lab scene (both of them, really) with Jesse was great. It was good to see him back to his dopey non-evil self, if even for a minute. The throwaway line, "Tell your douchebag brother-in-law to go towards the light!" was awesome, too.
    2) Gus is like a Spanish-speaking, chicken-frying Corleone, isn't he? I guess he's trying to either take over the cartel or set himself up as the U.S. equivalent. Either way, he's clearly a diabolical son of a bitch.
    3) It was nice how, every time Walt got paged to the courtesy phone, they showed Skyler with a look of "Really? Here? Now" on her face.
    4) Once again, we see that Walt really is in over his head here. Talking drug business with Gus -- in a room containing every cop and DEA agent in Albuquerque -- was not very smart.
    5) The scene where the suriving Cousin climbs out of the hospital bed and crawls after Walt was insanely creepy. Very Terminator-esque.

If you blinked, you missed Mike walking out of the room.

Gus is going to be less and less benign and calm as this thing plays out, I think.

I think we're starting to see that, at least the benign part.

Anybody know who many episodes are left in this season. Wasn't last week's #8?

    I think there's five left.

So it looks like Jesse is going to start skimming from the shipments and going into business for himself with Badger and Skinny Pete?
Badger and Skinny Pete talking up the blue meth in the 12-step meeting was kind of funny.

It was very funny and diabolical all at once.

Especially when you start to see the recovering addicts looking around, as if to say, "That does sound good! Where can I get some of that fine meth?"
Jesse Pinkman has taken scumbaggery to new levels this season.
