On the Breaking Bad reunion movie in 2025, we'll find out that Flynn blew his $9 million on a lifetime supply of Mrs. Butterworth.

It would be an interesting concept for a show if, say, in 10 years they did a spinoff where we catch up with Walt Jr. and see the effects of the Heisenberg legacy have had on his life.
I'd love to him to go completely in the wrong direction and succumb to the temptations of selling drugs and it wouldn't be that hard to set up either if the months leading up to him getting the $9m were the hardest of his life and the money ended up saving him and his family.
He'd probably figure it was from Walt and that might change the way he looks at his dad a couple months after he's had time to think. He's not a dumb kid and, at least genetically he's built like Walt so I could foreseeably see him change his outlook on the whole situation, especially when it came out that Walt didn't kill Hank and the nazis did. It really seems like that's Jr.'s biggest problem with what his dad did, besides lying of course which he could easily get over with a nice fat $9m check.

This was part of what I was getting at. The rest is that since the day after he realized how good a meth cook Walter could be, saw dollar signs and bought in, Jesse's been abused. He's regularly had the shit beat out of him, had a girlfriend die of an overdose in bed next to him, had another one killed almost execution style in front of him. All because of Walt. At the end, it didn't matter what his life looks like moving forward (here, I'll acknowledge that even though Walt's dead, the ripples from Jesse's association with him will last for quite some time). Of the two of them, he was the last man standing. In every instance Walt was the smartest guy in the room, and Jesse beat him.

Only if you don't accept that Walt knew he was going to die anyway, and chose his own ending rather than wait to have it chosen for him.

Jesse survived only because Walt made it happen. Just like he made everything else happen.

I thought the episode set up the rest of the season really well.

Now that they've gotten through all the story crap, they can really delve into the characters.

He bought the car wash back at auction for pennies on the dollar, then reopened it with a new name: A-2, where they launder your car. Not your money.
