Any extended Skyler sequence makes the show come to a screeching halt. I like Hank and Marie. I think they're using his kid just the right amount. Everyone else is a home run.

Either kill her off or put her permanently in the background.

  2. This..

Man, I hope you are right and he kills her.

  3. Great point about the Ricin and Skyler. And they've made it a point to show that Skyler is smoking regularly again...Hmm...

That 52nd birthday photo shows Skyler is out of the picture by then somehow (no wedding ring).

    Hmm... I think that's a reach, but I hope you're right...

He also does the "bacon ritual" himself.

So long, farewell, sweet Aztek. You will be missed.

Maybe he puts Skyler in the Aztek and takes both of them to the junkyard where they got the giant magnets and truck.

Car crusher/shredder and voila. Both are gone.

The ricin seems easier. Can't ricin be traced, though? Who the hell commits suicide with ricin?

He could throw her in the pool with ankle weights, then get in and remove the weights before calling the police to report his loving but troubled wife's untimely death.

He sold the Aztek to the guy at the garage for $50.

I'd like to think Season 5 ends with the cliffhanger of Skyler walking into Hank's office, or calling him, and telling him, "I need to talk."
It's really the only trump card she has on Walt. She has to eventually realize that nothing, not even prison or destroying her family, is worth enduring the living hell she's in now.
The "Waiting" scene was some of the coldest stuff I've ever seen on TV, on both sides.

  12. Yeah, what was the deal with that?
Symbolic of severing ties with his life as "Walt?"

    Great pull!!
    I forgot about that.
