Has anybody else done the Breaking Bad Story Sync thing? I'm happy enough just watching the show, but it was kind of interesting.

I've seen it advertised, but not sure what it is. ... So, what exactly is it?

I'm going to start collecting Mike-isms.

“Everyone sounds like Meryl Streep with a gun to their head.”

I think Hank is on to Walt.

Walt's vanity that is emerging this season is the reason why.

Walt gets two cars, the watch. . . it is like the line from Good Fellas when Jimmy gets all pissed because everybody is spending the money from the Lufthansa robbery and calling attention to themselves.

Walt is showing off now and Hank is too smart not to figure things out.

Nothing more to add here than to say I let out an "oh no!" the second I saw the kid reappear. That moment of television was brilliant. Just dripping with tension. I didn't think it would be Todd that pulled the trigger, but damn if it doesn't make sense.

I should add that I might actually have been fortunate to be watching on XFinity on Demand, which was slow as hell tonight. Took a while for me to watch. Paused a few times to let it download the stream so it wouldn't be choppy. Therefore, I had almost forgotten about the cold open by the time the heist occurred. Which helped with the element of surprise at the end.

How could anyone have forgotten about the kid from the first scene? You definitely heard the train in the background of that scene. Then, when it became obvious they were going to rob the train, I immediately thought, "Uh oh, that kid is going to show up and fuck things up somehow."

Dude, I just explained how I could forget. Start the show. 20 minutes in it gets unbearably choppy due to shitty XFinity stream. I pause it. Do some laundry. Read a story on the internet. Watch a little more. Gets choppy again after another 15 minutes. Pause. Play Words With Friends. Eat a snack. Play with cats with laser pointer. Finally the rest of the show loads without incident and I finish up close to two hours after it started. Thus I forgot entirely the cold open even happened. It ain't ideal, but what the hell can I do? DISH fucked me out of my AMC.

I didn't forget about the kid but I thought that the way I thought it would go would be that the kid would find the tanks after they left or see them robbing the train without them seeing him.
