    Season 5 promo photos: http://www.buddytv.com/articles/breaking-bad/breaking-bad-new-season-5-phot-46143.aspx

This nugget from Cranston about a movie: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/tv/showtracker/la-et-st-a-breaking-bad-movie-bryan-cranston-doesnt-rule-it-out-20120615,0,3312537.story

Also, Breaking Bad did well at the Critic's Choice Awards, although Best Drama went to Homeland. With Mad Men being VERY good and not great in its fifth season and Breaking Bad turning in the iconic season 4, I think the latter could finally win a Best Drama Emmy.

By the way, Season 4 DVDs are available on Amazon for $19.45 for the complete season ($24.99 for Blu-ray). Box set will be released on Tuesday.

Esposito was fantastic, but Aaron Paul should definitely have beat him out for the Best Supporting nod.

    I agree with this.

The "Problem Dog" support group speech sealed it for me.

I haven't been here in three days and I see no one posted the season 5 trailer from Tuesday!

I had never watched this show but when I saw that they were running it from the beginning recently, I set my DVR. I've been burning through it ever since. Just got caught up and watched the Season 4 finale last night. Wow. What a great show. Although now I have to wait until July 15 to see what happens next, instead of having 3-4 new episodes waiting on my DVR each day.

I know the plot is a hell of a stretch, but the acting is as good as advertised.

One question that I couldn't get my mind around because of the implications. With the shot of that flower in Walt's back yard, are they telling us Walt poisoned the little kid?

Yeah. He had been progressively getting more evil, but that shot confirmed that he's now completely evil at this point, even worse than Gus was.

July 15 can't get here soon enough.

The AMC drama is introducing an “important” character in the second episode played by Scottish actress Laura Fraser, executive producer Vince Gilligan tells EW. Gilligan describes Lydia as a “former associate of Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) who’s integral to the proceedings of season 5,” as well as someone who is “nervous about her place in the world.”

Most of the footage was from last season. Still, a Season 4 remix isn't a bad thing.

Wonder if she fills the role of German executive?
So what's the play for Walt and Jesse now? They killed Gus, leaving them with no means of distribution. Does Mike come in and help right the ship, or maybe this new character gets the operation back on track?
Also, does anyone think Walt or Jesse somehow takeover Los Pollos Hermanos, or would that be a Mike operation? So many questions, so many angles. One reason this is the best show on TV, IMO.

Amazing show. The attention to detail is so fantastic. I love all the little touches like Marie's unspoken obsession with the color purple. Tremendous show.
