Breaking Bad had a panel at Comic-Con and Sepinwall did a live blog.

Walt celebrates his next birthday at a Denny's type establishment, his hair is grown out, he buys a mess of guns and he's got a New Hampshire driver's license.

I still think his cancer's back, there was that one shot of him in the restroom at the hospital after a checkup where they show the towel dispenser busted in. He gives himself up figuring treatment in the slam is his best option.

Is there any chance Walt lives? I can't see it.

Was thinking about this in relation to Vic Mackey...lot of sentiment that he had to die too and The Shield found a way to make it work without doing it.

BB is a different show and there are a lot of ways Walt going down could be great, but I don't think it has to be set in stone.

The entire premise of the show was built on his impending death, though, which wasn't at all true of The Shield.

It's actually 2 years out. He turned 50 earlier this season, and was 52 at the Denny's (we know this because of the bacon).

  8. I'm so happy it's back, even if only for eight more weeks.

That's true. Looking at it in terms of who did more damage...Walt hasn't destroyed Jesse the way Vic destroyed Shane. But Walt's probably more damage to the world around him, the people he's not as close to. Wives similar.

Death's already kind of on its head here....all the money was for his cancer treatment and he's gone so far beyond that now. Does the cancer get him after all or does he die on some prideful mistake like Fring did? So many ways it can go, makes it great.

    Jesse is pretty destroyed.

The real question is. . . . will Hank turn in Walt?

. . . and what happens to the pile of money in the storage bin?

I'd love to see a fake Storage Wars episode where they bid on the unit and Barry walks away with the millions. It would be hilarious.

If it was just about the money, Walt could have just taken it from his former partner. It's always been about pride with Walt, and proving that he's the smartest guy in the room.
