Breaking Bad Season 5 Thread

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by Batman, Jun 4, 2012.

  1. This has kind of been my theory for the ending in general. Lots of theories out there but I feel like Walt has the Darth Vader type of ending where he ends up doing one final good dead to try to atone for his sins and sacrifices himself to save Jessie (and maybe Hank). I could see a scenario where they try to get Jessie to cook and force him to do it. Walt comes back to save him. Going further, perhaps Jessie cuts a deal with Hank and then Hank has to try to save Jessie but gets help from Walt to do it given Walt's knowledge of the type of people Todd rolls with. I believe the first part is likely, the second probably more of a stretch.

What was Hank's line last night? - that Marie was the most important person in the world to him. I think he could ditch the job, he's happy where he's gotten but I don't think it means as much to him as it did at the beginning of the series. I also think justice would take a backseat if it came down to justice or Marie. Of course, this might lead to his downfall, but who knows.
Now I'm trying to figure out who painted Heisenberg on the wall. Seems like everyone left knows Walt as Walt.

Reason No. 1,428 I could not be a drug kingpin: I 'd have forgotten those GPS coordinates in two minutes, lost my entire fortune before I had even pulled onto my driveway.

I thought the lottery ticket was a pretty good idea.

I'll have to remember that the next time I bury my cash in the desert.

I'd say fear....sort of illustrated in the Scrooge McDuck scene with Huell and the other guy, where the other guys says something along the lines of "He killed 8 guys in prison in two minutes. Just sayin."

They're too afraid of Heisenberg of to argue with him when he says he's done.

Heull's head could be a spin off for its own series.

Oh wait ... there's already been the Coneheads.

I agree on this episode being better than the previous one. They're moving everything along faster than I ever would have expected and I'm incredibly excited to see where the next six episodes take us. Yeah, I'm guessing I'll have some problems with it here and there, but I have little doubt it'll be a very fun ride.

Thought the same thing. Hank? Jesse? Gus or Mike? Naa, they're dead. Someone else from the past?

Is there any chance Mike was found by somebody before he bled out, made a miraculous recovery and is just laying low for now?

Mike is dead. His body was in the trunk of the car in the warehouse in the last episode of Season 5.1, when Walt and Todd were getting the acid barrel ready and Jesse interrupted them.

And my guess is Walt's "Heisenberg" alter ego gets out through the media after Hank comes after him and he goes on the lam. The spray-painting is done by some teenager --- probably one of the skate punks --- when they find out whose house got raided by the cops/Feds.

My guess is similar, but I believe "Heisenberg" will become some kind of neighborhood folk legend after he brutally murders Hank/Marie and goes on the run.
