I'm taking it Walt is well past the point where the vacuum cleaner guy can make him and his family disappear, right? Saul doesn't even mention it as a possibilty.

    Forgot about that.

He mentioned it about Hank, about "sending him to Belize, like the trip Mike is on" and Walt went nuts, cut him off and Saul shut up about it.

Walt's reasoning was that Hank is family. He never said "he's a cop" or "he's with DEA, we can't do that." It was family. I think he might have considered it if Hank wasn't his brother-in-law.

Then who is "Mr. Lambert," and why does he have a New Hampshire driver's license? (he shows it to the Denny's waitress to get his free birthday breakfast)

The "trip to Belize, like Mike is on," means to kill him.

If Walt needs to kill someone. my guess is that it's Jesse.

Right. And Walt told Saul, rather emphatically, that was not an option.

I think you're missing something, SixToe. The vacuum cleaner guy is the guy who basically does privatized witness protection.

  9. And my guess is that the vacuum cleaner guy is exactly who helps Walt disappear/become Mr. Lambert.

One thing that is great about having Gilligan with the show for the duration is that motivations don't change. Walt's okay with dying. He was prepared when the show began and just wanted to put some scratch away to provide for his family. I actually don't think he would mind being arrested or held accountable for his actions as long as his family was provided for.
He's always been pissed that he looked like a dope for cashing out of the bio-engineering start-up, he's always resented that people didn't look up to him, he feels people have underestimated him his entire life. Part of him really wants everyone to know that he is not one to be messed with, so I don't think he's a "you'll never take me alive" guy." I could see him surrendering to Hank if it meant saving his family. I could see him rescuing Hank from harm even if it letting him die would allow him to get away.

I think it is the people trying to get him back in the meth cooking game. He probably refuses in the next week or two and then they threaten to out him and leads to him going on the run (along with whatever violence is done to his family).

If you plug in the coordinates to Walt's hidden treasure (from his Lotto ticket) you'll end up in the parking lot of my office. Love my job!
