Is he better than Aaron Paul?

This season, I think so. Paul's had a few great minutes of blind rage this season, but mostly he's just sat around with a scared look on his face.

I almost think Paul has been so good that he's taken for granted now.

I was surprised Giancarlo Esposito didn't win two years ago.

I posted this on the TV thread, but Betsy Brandt is playing Michael J. Fox's wife on his new show. That will seem strange.

Pretty cool packaging job for the complete DVD set (now on pre-sale at Amazon for $224.99):

I thought the Holly talking scenes and Holly in the fire truck may have been digitally altered.

Her look in the truck couldn't have been any better.

I hope we're about done with Uncle Jack and friends.

It seems like it would be a waste to have spent four seasons of all of these characters being developed only to have this crew who only showed up in the first part of this season coming out on top.

Well, there's only two episodes left, so we're about done with everything. And I can't imagine the machine gun in Mr. Lambert's trunk is for anyone other than the Nazis.

Since no one has mentioned the trailer for next week, I will. There's a voiceover of Saul assessing the situation and saying something along the lines of, "If you don't come back, they will find them," which is an apparent reference to Skyler, Junior and Holly.
So, not sure why the Nazis would go after Walt's family with $70 million of his money and a talented meth cook in hand -- not only are those are nice parting gifts, but they seemed to part ways at To'jahilee as amicably as possible -- but that seems to be the direction they're headed. Could be the Nazis wipe out the rest of the White clan at the end of next week's episode, and Walt comes back to try to protect or avenge them.
I also think we haven't seen the last Walt-Jesse scene. My prediction is, the final sequence has Walt making his way through the Nazi compound and stumbling across Jesse, who happily puts a bullet in Walt's head with an emphatic, "Bitch!"

One thing bothers me about Chekhov's M-60, though. We haven't even seen Walt lift the damn thing, much less fire it. That is a heavy, heavy weapon that's difficult for a trained soldier to fire. We've never seen Walt shoot anything bigger than a handgun, IIRC. Now, all of a sudden, he's going to charge into the clubhouse of a well-armed, ruthless Neo-Nazi gang, machine gun blazing, like some cancer-stricken Rambo?
Not only is it implausible, it hardly seems like Walt's style. He's a schemer. Although he's screwed up most of his plans this season, he still attacks with a plan. It's also not this show's style to make it that simple.
It's gnawing at me. Feels like we're being set up, and the machine gun will be used a different way.

Or Saul could be referring to Brock and Andrea, if Jesse goes all MacGyver in the lab and escapes the compound.

Maybe I was watching too quickly, but I thought that was just a stray dog. Looked like a collie of some sort.
