I think most of the neo-Nazis and Walt die. I would add Jesse, but I think he'll be the one to kill Walt. Or maybe he dies and Skyler kills Walt. That would be a heck of a twist.

The rest of Walt's family survives, though I think they could have a hell of a moment if they killed Walt Jr. and it was somehow Walt's fault.

I don't think we see Skylar or Holly or Walt Jr. again. I think they survive. For the longest time I didn't think Jesse would survive, now I sort of do. I don't think there is any chance Walt survives.

Re: Season 3, I agree it was great, just not as good as Season 4 (The Gus Fring season), season 5B, or the underrated Season 2, with all the slow grinding out of Walt and Jesse trying to make it in the meth business, and some great scenes with Jesse and Jane.

Jane was OK. The plane crash was the worst thing Breaking Bad has done.

Season 3 had plenty of Gus, too.

And I can't even fathom Skyler and Walt Jr. not being in the final two episodes at all, even if they're not in scenes with Walt.

Can we get a spoiler alert in case you guessed right or are Vince Gilligan?

I think Lydia may be the only one to survive. She always acts skittish and seems frail but she's slippery like an eel.

I think the ricin might be for Lydia (unless it's for Walt himself). She obviously isn't going to stick her head up long enough to get caught in a crossfire.

On The Writer's Room (or maybe Charlie Rose) Gilligan at length went into how BrBa is patterned after a classic Western movie.

Therefore, Walt rides off into the sunset. With 10 million bucks. And his sidekick.

The "classic Western" might have been The Wild Bunch.

Considering how far off base I've been to this point of the season, i don't think you have to worry. :)

Is there a good reason Walt had to return to get his ricin besides symbolism? As opposed to simply making more.

So according to one of the stories above, Gilligan went to great lengths to film the flashback scene in last week's episode (it's the last scene they filmed for the series).

Why? What was so crucial about that fairly innocuous scene?

My wife has a good theory: Jesse's joke...when he sees Walt in his tightie whities, he says something along the lines of "put me in a coma why don't you!".

So the theory goes that's exactly how Jesse ends up -- in a coma. Only Walt finds out that Jesse's coming around...and so he runs to get the Ricin to do Jesse in once and for all.

Why bother with the ricin when he has that big gun?
