So I guess the new theory du jour is that Walt is going to use the machine gun on Elliott and the ricin capsule on Gretchen?

I'm thinking the gun is to get his money back from the Nazis, and the ricin will be for his dear friends.

As long as Todd catches a bullet, I'm cool with either one.

Kind of bummed that Todd killed Andrea.

I want Todd to die a slow, painful death.

How do I describe Todd the right way?

    I don't "love" him. I don't "like" him.

But I love the way the character is written. I love the acting by Jesse Plemons, who deserves the same kind of credit as Jonathan Banks, Giancarlo Esposito, Mark Margolis, et al, get for creating a great character out of someone who just as easily could have been ancillary one.

He's almost completely unique in his evil. The lack of empathy would suggest he might be mentally ill, but we know he's fully aware of his actions. Or is he mentally ill? Or his upbringing was so twisted he thinks what he does is normal?

Either way, he's a great villain in a way villains are rarely portrayed.

As for Walt? He's going to kill everyone who crossed him. Pride has always mattered more to him than family and that's all (he feels) he has left. The gun is for the Nazis, the ricin is for Gretchen and Elliott, a fitting end (from Walt's point of view) for the people he felt screwed him.

I think Jesse kills Walt in the end.

I'm just going to take a wild guess and say that there's some sort of link between Gray Matter and Madrigal.

Walt was obviously pissed at Gretchen and Elliott -- but was he more pissed at figuring out that Jesse is still alive? The line about the blue meth still being in circulation had to tip him off that Todd didn't dispose of Jesse as intended. Could be he writes off Gretchen and Elliott as too hard to get to, but the hate obviously still burns for Jesse and the Nazis.

It's possible, but he also knows Todd and company had been trying to cook a fake version.

Next week is going to be insane. I mean, we already knew that, but now it's really hit home.

The last few minutes of tonight's episode and the teaser for next week literally gave me goosebumps. I haven't been this excited for a series finale since Lost. Man, I hope this doesn't leaving me feeling as disappointed as that did.
