Dixon hosts the Breaking Bad Insider podcast, which is an essential part of my experiencing each episode. It has been a little strange during season 5b, because they taped at least the first 7 before the season began running.

And I think that there is zero doubt that Walt dies. I would guess that he is killed by Jesse or Walt Jr. I think that Walt guns the Nazis and Jesse escapes, killing Todd. Jesse then goes after Walt's family leading to the final confrontation after Walt poisons the Grey Matter couple.

I've read that sentence five times and have no idea what it means.

Please explain the phrase "too big to be so consistently underwhelming"

What does "too big" have to do with "underwhelming", consistently or otherwise?

  4. Jesse goes after Walt's family? Please. That's not Jesse. If he did that, it would ruin the show for me.

  5. They did a phenomenal job of asking a bunch of questions to which we already know the answers.

As in, it is so generically blah. I'm mostly familiar with sports, but I've checked in with other stuff, too. There's no reason to read the Star when The Globe & Mail is just so much better at most things and The National Post is better at a few other things. And that's a shame because it has the highest circulation in your country. It should either be better or at least more distinguishable. There's no reason the national newspapers should do a better job covering the Raptors, for instance.

And that Breaking Bad article was fucking worthless.

On finale eve, I think Holly ends up with Marie long-term. That's all I'm sure about. Well ... and Walt dies.

I haven't been this amped up for a series finale since Lost. My god, this better not suck.

That was perfect. Just perfect for the show. No bullshit, no ambiguity, and it didn't feel contrived.

100 percent dead on. I loved every moment of that finale. It was perfect. A perfect pay-off to an amazing season and an amazing series.
