More likely someone mentioned to him that on some board, someone brought up the Joisey days. Why would you assume Simers has some culture or intellectual superiority that would make him look at a clit thread and say, "I do believe I shall eschew this venue, my good man Standish"? Hell, Kindred posts here.

Isn't this pretty much a lose-lose for anyone who gets perforated here? If you respond, it's a feeding frenzy, as in 'how thin-skinned can you be to respond to anonymous attacks on a message board...' But this isn't a fan board, it's (ostensibly) a collection of colleagues, and it's hard to not respond when you're being ripped by people who know you....anonymously. A one-way mirror.

Just saying, if anonymous broiling is fair play here, does it really matter how the broilee responds?

 

I'd just like to say that, regardless of what your opinion of Whitlock is, the fat jokes are weak. If you need to resort to that every time he gets under your skin, your game is real suspect.
