There WILLL NOT be a lifetime ban from the NFL for Michael Vick. What Paul Hornug and Alex Karas did with gambling was much more detrimental to the game than what Vick did. That may be Vick's saving grace.
What Vick did was a crime against humanity, not the sport of professional football. Once he's done his time, he will return.
And for the resident race riot people who have been waiting for years for the people of color to get it on, it's coming. But it's not going to be black vs. white. It's going to be every color against each other in a free for all. You can see it coming. Stay tuned because IT WILL BE TELEVISED.

    1 to 2 is true

    2 to 3 is true

1 to 3 is not true

For a lifetime ban from being able to earn a living.

When this country is filled with people who kill animals for sport legally?

I want some of our stash.

Everyone is fine with a 1-year ban.

There will be hell on earth if it is permanent (without anything else coming out on him in the meantime).

Maybe true, but I think it reads more accurately like this: And Michael Vick is paying the price for the actions that greatly, greatly violated the law.

Whether people think hunting should be illegal, or that Leonard Little should be in the next jail cell over from Vick, does not change the fact that what Michael Vick did was illegal and he is being punished for it. He is not getting a raw deal in any way.

Bring it on. Time to fight the war, and win it.

Define the sides early: You can either be on the side of sadistic, brutal, law-flouting, socially-maladjusted thugs, or not.

Chuck, HeWho, boots and Fenian, brothers in Vickaphilia. This is a combo that won't be frequently repeated.

But wait; are you guys all Yankee fans too?

Yes, the full-fledged, race-charged riot would be very, very wrong.

Anybody who can't look at the facts of the case — which Vick is admitting are true — and still think Goodell isn't justified in dropping a Pete Rose-esque hammer on Vick aren't being objective.

    Dude...

Let's get murderers put away forever before Vick is.

One year suspension is pretty much right.

Leonard Little, on the other hand, should be suspended for a period longer than Vick, whatever Vick's NFL penance ends up being.

    Bullshit.

As long as sporthunting is legal, there is NO WAY an expulsion is proper justice.

We can't value some animals that much more than others on purely bullshit, "Awwwww, shucks, Rover's so cute" reasoning.

    Morons.

Sorry, but the vast majority of Americans disagree with you. That's why you can find meat from cows, pigs and chickens in a U.S. grocery store but not meat from dogs, horses or cats.

You're right, but Little's crimes were committed pre-Goodell. Should he go back and wipe Paul Horung and Alex Karras out of the record books for their 1963 betting scandal?
