I want some documentation that Michelle Obama is actually female.

I like the comment underneath that went along the lines of, "It's raining money, and you're bitching it's not twenties."

How so? What, exactly, makes it the right thing to do?

Some people don't know when they are being played.

Absolutely! "Rights", if you call them that, are not universal. Hell, I don't have the same "rights" as most of the people in my neighborhood.

I'm not legally allowed to do many things other people are: own property, drive a car, have a bank account, vote, etc. I have to do a lot of stuff "under the table".

I fought it for a while. Wearied of it and came to realize that was just the way the powers that be are and no amount of screaming, pleading or rationalizing was going to change anything. So I just go on with my life and ignore them. If someone really wants to make a stink about it, we'll duke it out in court someday. Until then, I don't care.

Might as well. There isn't a lot of justice in it. But that's not up to me. It is what it is.

To your point, there is not a lot of justice in a lot of places in the world.

As for same-sex marriage and rights..... I honestly don't care one way or the other, personally. I just get a little tired of the "politically correct" police demonizing anyone and everyone who happens to have a different opinion than they do.

I have friends on a different board who want to claim Obama is the destruction of America, that gays are the worst people in the world, that interracial marriage should be outlawed, that abortion is murder, etc. I'm actually somewhere in the middle on that stuff, neither far right nor far left, which is probably a good place to be.

I don't demonize Obama for speaking his mind on this. But it's not going to make me feel any differently, either.
