    To quote Dave Hester: Yuuuuuuuuuppppp!

It's really not even in the top 50.

But congratulations to Obama on discontinuing his hypocrisy. And congratulations to Obama also for exposing the hypocrisy of so many of his followers who yesterday said it wasn't a big deal that he didn't support gay marriage and today say it's a huge deal he does.

Has Lebron James reacted to the President's comments yet?

As one of the stodgy conservative bastards here on the board, I think it is a generational issue. I don't have much opposition to same-sex marriage. Whatever.

I am in one of the first states that legalized it. At the time, I thought it was a superb business decision. What other demographic would shell out $219/night for a bed and breakfast in a location without much scenery?

Yet unlike some of the other conservatives, I didn't see the world fall in and all of us descend into hell. Probably, because, whether on the left or the right, we all probably work with people who have a same-sex orientation. Cool. Whatever.

I'm more amused by the President finding same-sex marriage as this week's "motivate the base issue".

I can see Obama and Axelrod chatting on the smoking deck out back at 1600 Pennsylvania.

Axelrod: "Let's see, Mr. President, another week with a distraction issue where no one is talking about the sluggish economy or the lack of good jobs. What are you thinking for next Sunday's talk shows?"

POTUS: "Hmmm, David. How about single-payer pet insurance for single people? Especially single women. They love their cats and we need them in November. Tell them Romney will euthanize their pets. See if Senator Boxer is free on Sunday for Meet The Press."

Axelrod: "Good idea, sir. We only need 25 more weeks of distraction issues until Election Day! We're halfway home!"

  4. Obama: If I had a dead gay son - he'd look like Trayvon.

    Hey is Heathers on?

I fully support gay marriage, but I completely loathe these "you can marry your cousin but not your gay lover!!!!!!!!" images that get posted in these debates.

Ever notice that four of the six states listed that allow gay marriage also allow you to marry your cousin? What's the point if the majority of states that allow gay marriage also allow you to marry your cousin? Ever notice that the #1 state that has a stereotype for people marrying their cousins has banned it? Ever think that the states where it's legal to marry your cousin are the states that never had a problem with people marrying their cousins?

Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder.

"The polls are close, I already have every group of whiners in my corner, what other group of 'stupid cause of the week' people can I appease by claiming I feel their pain and support their cause....." [/Obama in deep discussion with his closest advisers in days leading up to tonight's ridiculous and transparent announcement.]

I didn't expect this thread to make me laugh, but I can't stop giggling. PLEASE Mark, do tell us why you don't have the "right" to own property, drive, vote, etc.

As opposed to the government telling everybody except the billionaires, "Fuck you, you're on your own." [/TeamRomney]

I don't want to speak for Mark, nor do I really care, but I think he has alluded to spending some quality time dealing with our vast legal system. I don't know if that included confinement, but that might be part of the issue.

I believe he was charged with being a fraudulent Ginger.
