    More good advise from Leviticus:

19 "Don't have sex with your aunt on either your mother's or father's side. That violates a close relative. Both of you are held responsible.

  2. I do have to hand it to Obama. The day after he lost 40% of the vote in W Virginia to a prison inmate and the day after Wisconsin completely repudiated the unions who are his biggest supporters - he was able to change the discussion to a subject that made him look enlightened. Talk about W Virginia and Wisconsin completely shunted aside.

Nice political jujitsu. But how many times can he do something like this between now and November?

Ah, the "Obama sucks but he is better than Romney" defense.

    Wonderful.

And we wonder why our government sucks and has for a long time.

We don't vote for good people, we vote for who we perceive to be the lesser of two evils.

Obama is a moron and a horrible president. But hey, he's better than three-time loser and stand for nothing moron the other side has presented so let's vote for him and defend every idiotic decision he makes to death.

And now I see the Justice Department, which I presume is under the thumb of Obama, is going after Sheriff Joe for being mean to Latinos.....

Yep, the timing of that is not suspicious.

    My God.

It is "appease the whiners in order to try and get votes week"

    Wednesday Gays
    Today Latino Immigrants
Tomorrow Some silly stance for some obscure abortion procedure

    I love election years.

You clearly have some passionate thoughts that you would like to convey to people.

Why sacrifice your credibility with statements like this?

The trouble I'm having with this place these days is I never know if someone's being sarcastic. I mean, you couldn't have seriously suggested that zag has credibility ... but maybe you did.

Meanwhile, I'll look forward to the inevitable three or four days of zag foaming at the mouth and angrily commenting on all the topics he doesn't care about.

No. I was pulling that phrase as indicative of his entire body of work, which sacrifices any credibility he would like to have. There's a kernel of truth to some of the things he posts - obviously both parties have issues. Obviously the media isn't infallible. But the rhetoric gets in the way.

Oh I care about politics and government and have never claimed differently.

What I don't care about is partisan pissing contests and what I have no time for are guys like you or Zeke who will suck off Obama regardless of what he says, does or legislates.

And when he pulls this kind of ridiculous political pandering - instead of calling it what it is, a political ploy, you want people to celebrate as if he has done something courageous.

Of course, had George W. pulled this stunt six months before his re-election "I, George W., am now for gays marrying" - Zeke and the rest of the lefties around here would have spent eight pages ripping him for being intellectually dishonest and pandering to moderates.....

The fact that you, who NOBODY takes seriously because almost all of your posts are of the way over the top contrarian variety, is trying to act as if you are the voice of reason is comical, if it weren't so sad.

Because certain people in government in this corner of the world are a bunch of discriminating biggots!

Hey, I deal with it, just part of life. Nothing I say or do is going to change their minds, so why waste my time? It would be like try to convince this crowd that homosexuality is wrong.

    So which is it?

Everyone here is an ideologically pure ass-kisser?

Or a "way over the top contrarian"?

Nice Hobson's Choice you've set up there.

I still can't fucking figure this out. Even if Mark were a convicted felon, it doesn't explain the property ownership thing. Convicted felons can own property.

Oh that's right - in pointing out two posters who are lefty political ass kissers and one who just trolls from thread to thread looking for a fight no matter what the subject, I have made a sweeping comment about "everyone" who posts here.

Many people who post here are reasonable and exist to try and have good discussions.

And even guys like Zeke, whose head is so far up Obama's ass his brain would explode if Obama farts and thus he is usually delusional when it comes to any subject involving the president, want to and try to have good discussions.

You, on the other hand, have no interest in anything but starting fights.
