Homophobia under the guise of piety? Yeah, that's one that's never been used before.

But do they blow each other?

There are a lot of people who support or oppose something on religious grounds. Does that make them wrong, to choose a religion and follow it?

So every person who opposes homosexuality is what? Because YOU disagree? Height of arrogance.

The height of arrogance is to force others to follow your religion. If you disapprove of same sex marriage, don't marry someone of the same sex. If I disapprove of your religion, I won't attend your church. Everybody wins.

Don't know; don't care. If they do, they are smart enough to keep it in private. If all the homos had done that, we wouldn't be having this debate. It was "gee, we want to be treated like everyone else" that got this started. Fine, you want to be treated like everyone else? Then act like everyone else.

Everyone who opposes homosexuality is a homophobe, just like people who believe in segregation are racists.

I don't force anyone to follow anything. I simply don't associate with them. End of story.

But voting to deny rights to citizens based on your religious views IS forcing your religion on other people.

It takes quite a mind to act persecuted while wishing to persecute others, but you manage to pull it off.

And the use of "homos"? Sticks the landing.
