    Per your own advice, my man, you should repress it and act like everyone else.

    Good question. Growing up, I didn't know anyone who was openly gay. No adult figure openly told me that some people are wired that way and it's OK.

    Gays were scary, strange and probably dangerous. If you wanted to insult someone, you called them gay.

    When I grew up, got to know and work with gay people and became friends with others, I wondered where all the hatred and fear came from.

    Yes. A person over 60 grew up in a very, very different time in this regard. Hell, I'm 40 and I had to, at some point, consciously reject everything I had learned about this subject until age 18.

    But if you're under 30 and holding these views, you've made the other choice -- consciously rejected the idea of acceptance.

    Yeah, without wading into the question of whether the Bible should have any impact on the law, that is one of the 7 big ones that are universal.
