So, "Obama's team", is "deeply annoyed" at Joe Biden -- because he's getting to much credit! Love it.

And, Joe has apologized:

Undoubtedly millions will storm the polls to vote against Obama because they are upset at the brutal treatment meted out to poor Joe Biden.

Not only upset .... but CONCERNED!!!

 

I still cannot figure out why the federal government - or any governmental agency -- is in the marriage business other than the magistrate who issues a license.

If there is a God, he will make sure all 50 states allow any consenting adult to marry whoever the fuck they choose so that people on both sides of this silly debate shut the fuck up.

This issue is, like abortion, a non-issue that wastes time and takes away from the important and critical issues that our federal government should be concerned with.

People who support gay marriage and people who don't - just like people who support abortion and people who don't - have won national elections and will continue to do so.

People should be free to marry whoever they want - spare me the 'what about creeps who marry children' shit as that is silly -- and franky I have yet to hear one legitimate reason why anyone would oppose that.

But until it is legal everywhere, the extremists on both sides will continue to make us all listen to their nonsensical rants about it and waste time during every election cycle making mountains out of mole hills.

 

I don't always agree with zag, but that's one of the saner things I've read on this thread.

Extremists grab America by the arm and make them address things that really should be further down the list.

My problem with Zag is that he thinks he has the right to go into a bar and smoke. He and I have had some good ones over that.

 

My problem with Zag is he mocks all the so-called whiners, and yet he's the biggest whiner on the board, always complaining about this or that.

 

My problem with Zag is that he doesn't put his building blocks away when he's done playing with them.

 

Seriously, you think it's that simple? If you were "born gay" your outlook on this would surely be completely different. Or do you not understand how the brain works? (I'll withdraw the question). But you think your opinion on this matter would be exactly the same and you would just get some therapy and be cured? I understand you think homosexuality is learned, but that's still an idiotic statement. Among many.

 

OK, been through 16 pages. Still don't know whether Mark2010 is a felon or an alien (which would make him WAY more interesting to me). So hopefully he will enlighten us on that. Other than that, good for the president. I don't really see how this helps him other than possibly fund-raising but glad he did it.
