    Joe Manchin is a Republican in all but the name - a Zell Miller for the pepperoni roll set that never misses a chance to spread his legs for Big Coal.

    Any surprise there? If you are from a state where the overwhelming majority is opposed to something and you are facing a really close race, are you going to stick your own neck out for the president on an issue that you may or may not personally agree with?
