I think you get my point, though.

Oh, I do, Ryan. And being that I'm pretty close to Ground Zero for any potential Favre Watch coverage, I'm praying to every deity I can think of that the SOB stays retired. Four straight years of this bullshit might just send me screaming off to Whitfield (legendary home of the state mental hospital).

When there's smoke, there's usually fire. I have a baaaaad feeling about this.

As a Bears fan, I'd be happy to see his aging ass in a purple uniform. With his skills diminished, Chicago could finally exact a little revenge on him for a decade-plus of ass kickings.

As a Packer fan, I'm just beyond the point of caring. That's pretty telling in itself for someone who was so central to the team's success for 15 years.

As a Bears fan, though, wouldn't that be less than fulfilling....beating Favre when he's old and grey? You'd think that wouldn't mean as much.

Then again, these ARE Bears fans I'm talking about. :)

They take what they can get. Besides, they're cursed with headcase Jay Cutler for the forseeable future.

Yeah. I guess I should take it easy on those guys. (Says the always bitter Skins fan.)

    Ugh.

Beating Brett Favre will never, ever, ever get old. I wish he'd never left the Packers.
