    Oh is it that easy? We'll just unite Ireland? Man, I'm sure that won't be problematic at all.

    I don't know why no one has thought of this, or tried this before.

    Well, I'm sort of joking, but sort of not.

    Do Northrrn Ireland residents want to be in the EU more than they want to be in the UK, and if so, are they willing to settle their issues with the Republic in order to do so?

    It could be something spectacular if there's enough will.

    Don't forget Scotland is now itching for another go at independence so it can stay in the EU.

    Yep. And, Northern Ireland's ties to the UK are mostly through nearby Scotland.

    If Scotland isn't in the UK, there's less reason for Northern Ireland to be in the UK.
