    Oh, fucking bullshit.

    The stupid young men do stupid young man things because they think there will be no consequences. And usually, there aren't.

    Maybe if a few more of them land in shackles for a few years (or, for the would-be terrorists, a few decades), word will get around that there are, indeed, consequences. Then, we'll find out who the REALLY stupid young men are.

    Is that rum .... and .... sodomy, two totally different things, or ...
    is that rum AND sodomy, as some sort of pairing?
    Are they connected in some way? Does the use of one lead to the other?

    "Rum, sodomy and the lash" are the things that Winston Churchill said the Navy traditions were based on....plus, it's also the name of a Pogues album.
