    If not Klinsmann, how about that Dutch guy who coaches(d) Australia? Guus Hiddick, or something like that?

    Whoever the successor is — Klinsi or otherwise — needs to let Donovan and Beasley know in no uncertain terms that they're playing for their jobs when national team play resumes. It's time to put up or shut up for those two and motivating them will be a significant portion of the next coach's job.
