    "Do you hate America?"

    "Yes."

"Does your ideology dictate that the lives of those with whom you disagree hold no value?"

    "Yes."

"Welcome to our country! Congratulations, here is your Democratic Party voters card."

YF, I'm not going to debate the fist part of that. If you refuse to own what you are posting, that is your problem.

Our values? There are plenty of American citizens who don't care for what you might think of as "our values."

Oh, so only the immigrants who would be so upset about a gay couple holding hands that they actually do something about it should be kept out?

Equal opportunity in education is bad, right? Can't let those people get a real education. They'll stop voting Democrat.

The exact opposite of what I'm saying, but I'm used to seeing these things fly over your head, tony. What I'm saying is the funding needs to be kept in public schools and the best education possible should be available to everybody.

You want equal education for everybody? Fix the public schools. And both parties have done a piss-poor job of this. The Obama administration has done a terrible job. The general idea they are pushing is fine, establishing common standards nationwide, but the execution has been awful. Even worse was making John King, Jr. Secretary of Education after the lousy job he did leading the implementation of Common Core in New York.

But equal education for all isn't what you are worried about here and we both know it. Sorry to have to break it to you, tony, but the separation of church and state is not going away. And really, that is what you are pushing for, to get public money to pay for private, religious education. To shove prayer back in the classroom. To force the views of the majority on the minority.

Read about East Ramapo, NY, sometime. A religious group managed to take over the board of education. It wasn't the poor who benefited. It wasn't "those people" as you called them. They were left behind in a disaster of a school district.

How do you think one becomes a registered Democrat?

I am disappointed in how comfortable you seem to be with religious discrimination.
