    But he's right.

Anthony Weiner -- super genius -- all of a sudden got very nervous about how he'd make a living if he wasn't in the House.

    It's all he knows/knew.

Bobby Schilling can go back to his pizza place when he's done in Congress. (Which he might be soon with re-districting.)

    1. Assholes are a bipartisan fact of Congressional life and have been since 1789.

    2. This deal is just murder for Romney. Members of the Republican primary electorate who don't trust him, which is a lot of them, since NOBODY trusts Romney, have much less reason to settle on the grounds Romney has the best chance of beating Obama. This deal insures that it'll be the Republicans who can nominate a tree stump and sweep to victory, as double-digit unemployment tends to do that.

That would be a bold and smart move. It would also show how worried he is about losing.

I still think it will be Romney or Perry.

A lot of people who have been in one career most of their lives get nervous at the prospect of changing jobs.

This is not something limited to politics. And, even after the scandal, it's hard to imagine Weiner will struggle to find another career.

I think that any politician being an outsider can have some benefits. But, as it pertains to the Tea Party, I think it's a negative.

This. This whole process has disgusted me beyond all reason.

What does it take for a liberal to be banned from Daily Kos?

    Can we get a link?

Liberals/progressives are doomed to lose if their only concern is never hurting anybody's feelings.

Obama has revealed himself as a complete pansy-ass coward. Resign, you pussy. Take your fucking kumbayah-singing crew, including Biden and Reid, with you.

Let the teabag fascists take over completely. Save us all the heartache.

Don't get why Pelosi waiting until tomorrow to meet with Dem caucus. Their leverage likely goes down as we get closer to deadline.

Boehner & Pelosi are both going to have a hard time getting votes for this. Still hard to see how they get to 216.

Nancy is going to have to deliver 30-50 votes at a minimum.

I think she can do that. At this point, when Dems re-gain the House next year, hopefully someone else is voted Speaker though.
