quaint...you have to realize, Star comes in here and tries to stir things up by throwing the race card around every chance he gets. He also likes to insult those who do not share his clueless mindset. He may not be racist (I have no idea if he is or not), but he sure is prejudiced. And intelectually entertaining, to say the least. He should stick to sports because he at least forwards the sports arguments on these boards. When it gets political the only thing he succeeds in doing is making an ass out of himself.

The anger in this country easily doubled when he took office.

You know starman, I did go look it up. There was a "Tea Party" protest held on January 24, 2009, just four days after the President was inaugurated. So maybe you're on to something. But then again, that protest was held in Binghamton, NY, and it was in protest of a proposed tax on non-diet soft drinks. So maybe you're not.

    Impeach Obama, says Michael Burgess
    | 8/9/11 | REID J. EPSTEIN

Posted on Tuesday, August 09, 2011 1:09:14 PM
Impeaching President Barack Obama “needs to happen,” Rep. Michael Burgess (R-Texas) told a local tea party group, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Tuesday.

Burgess spoke, the paper said, in response to an attendee’s suggestion that the GOP-controlled House use impeachment to stop Obama from “pushing his agenda.”

“It needs to happen, and I agree with you it would tie things up,” Burgess reportedly responded. “No question about that.”

When the Star-Telegram’s reporter asked Burgess about the comment, he said the House needs to do what it can to stop the president.

“We need to tie things up,” Burgess said. “The longer we allow the damage to continue unchecked, the worse things are going to be for us.”

Burgess, an obstetrician who is in his fifth term as a lawmaker, is the latest House Republican to call for the president’s impeachment. Last month, Iowa Rep. Steve King said Obama “would be impeached” if he allowed the nation to default.

Rep. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) said it would be “an impeachable offense” for Obama to raise the debt ceiling without congressional approval. In April, former Reagan administration official Bruce Fein drafted articles of impeachment http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0811/60949.html

The Repubs always get angry whenever a Dem is in office. They think they have a right to control the presidency forever.

Look at Clinton. He won in '92, and immediately, the GOP got angrier, screamed the loudest, won in '94, and tried to get rid of him in '98.

At least the Dems gave Bush a chance, even though he was looking to screw them over every chance he got. He had a 90 percent approval rating after 9/11.

But no worries. I get a kick out of starman's schtick.

Let's see, one GOP says Obama should be impeached for allowing the default. Yet another GOPer says Obama should have been impeached if he had claimed a constitutional right to not allow the nation to default.

Can't these guys make up their minds? It's like when Obama was running in '08 and drew a crowd of 200,000 people to a speech in Germany. It's "He's a celebrity! Don't vote for him!" Yet, if he drew 20 people, they would have said, "No one wants to listen to him! He's a loser!"

Oh, I do as well. He's actually really funny.

And I want to know how Carlton Banks is racist. That's a strange one.

Stereotype of a black conservative who is out of touch with reality.

Wow, that's a reach. How about I was watching the Fresh Prince of Bel Aire when I was registering, and Carlton was being funny when I was looking for a username? Nah, not possible, right? Idiot.
